BNP Paribas Fortis

Being part of the mobile team at BNP involved working on a variety of app projects. As a UX/UI Designer, I was engaged from start to finish in each initiative, whether large or small. I collaborated with Concept Designers to align everyone's expectations, moved on to wireframing and user research, and concluded with final designs and handover to development. Our designs catered to both Android and iOS platforms, ensuring a consistent user experience across devices.

PFM

Within the BNP app, there is a feature called the Personal Finance Manager (PFM). This feature provides users with insight into their expenses and income by setting up budgets, categorising expenses, and reviewing recurring payments.

As a UX/UI Designer, my role was to increase the visibility and usability of this tool, as it was not frequently used and many users were unaware of its existence. I worked on integrating PFM into the dashboard on the home page. We also created Instagram-like stories that provided insights into the previous month's expenses. Additionally, we added a 'Recurrent Payments' feature, allowing users to easily view and track regular payments.

Inbox

The BNP inbox feature was cluttered, with both messages and tasks making it unclear to users which items required action and which were purely informative. To address this, I streamlined the page to clearly separate the two categories. We also introduced controls to help users keep their inboxes organized, such as options for deleting messages or marking them as read. Additionally, when there are no tasks, the task section remains hidden.
