Crelan

With the merger of Crelan and AXA, there was a need for a unified mobile application to replace the two existing ones. This project involved designing and delivering a completely new app that would cater to the user needs.

Working closely with a dedicated team of developers, testers, analysts and fellow designers, we successfully delivered a minimum viable product in a short period of time. Starting from a blank canvas, we developed an app that met all the requirements for functionality, accessibility and user experience.

Animation

At Crelan, I had the opportunity to design and implement some fun micro animations for their new application. Using a combination of After Effects and Lottiefiles, I crafted animations that added visual appeal, improved the overall functionality and user engagement with a sprinkle of pizzazz.
In the actual app, none of the animations loop and will play only once. For the sake of presentation, I did loop all the animations here.

Confirmation

Here you can see the confirmation animation that the user gets after successfully completing a transfer.

Error screen

I’ve created a micro animation for an error screen. This is used whenever something goes wrong (server connection, loading issues, etc.) and is designed to represent a little bell that is picked and rang to give a sense of alert to the user.

Empty states

Since we wanted to spice things up whenever the user stumbles upon an empty state, we decided to use a small animation. Here are examples of an empty inbox, cards and documents screen.
